The restaurant industry has experienced a lot of highs and lows this year. It has been a great joy to work with restaurant owners during this time and to be a photographic witness of their resilience and creativity through this ever evolving season.

Most chefs can open any fridge or pantry and create the most magnificent feast from the simplest ingredients. So it is of no surprise that the restaurant world can take the present circumstances however great or challenging and still create something so beautiful from it all. It's like it’s in their DNA or something. Creating beautiful menu items in the midst of some of our most troubling times. Keeping us happy with great treats to take home, enjoy outdoors, and to not have to cook! Yay! ​

It makes what we do as photographers so rewarding. We get to tell the story of the restaurant and the completed dish. Knowing so many of their patrons are going to be enticed by even more of their beautiful kitchen creations and enjoy all of the fulfilling goodness.
