A classic look for a stormy afternoon on Eastern Promenade in Portland, Maine. We created a wonderful collection of portraits for this senior. Class of 2021 have had a very unusual year globally but their strength and resilience comes through these images like never before. This class has seen so much, gone through a lot, and are destined for good things ahead. Creating a graduates portrait marks the year of being catapulted into their future and we are so excited to document this time in their life.

We have visited Bar Harbor, Maine several times. It’s probably in my top 5 Maine destinations. We love it when it’s busy and filled with tourists from all around the world. And we love it when we are the only people visible. Oftentimes, we are there on business. We spend a part of the day photographing for our client and then try to sneak in a stroll through the trails or enjoy a meal by the water. On this particular day in June, we had begun to experience some restlessness. So we went for a drive, followed by a slow stroll through Bar Harbor. That day was so quiet. No one in sight. Not much was open. And in this quiet, she shined, so brightly. Welcoming us with her cool ocean breeze. So we explored. We breathed. We relaxed and took in the vista. The photographs you see here are a collection from Cyle Davenport and Liz Davenport. As travel photographers, we know it’s important to share visually through photographs the roads we have had the opportunity to travel. We would love to share that moment with you through our photographs. Please enjoy! We fell in love with the most charming venue in Greene, Maine. There is a cidery and a tasting room. There is also a large apple orchard with a breath taking view of Maine. The original home is available too. One of the living areas has the original wallpaper that is over 100 years old. It's a spectacular fun place filled with so much history. We had such a great time photographing Vista of Maine.

We want to celebrate you and all of your accomplishments by creating your senior portrait! Creating a photography collection is a great way to commemorate this time in a students life. Portraits can define the moment, your last year of school, and the excitement for the road ahead. For this particular portraits session we selected a cloudy afternoon on the Eastern Prom to capture as much natural light and glow from Casco Bay. The light comes in and creates such a nice ambient glow around the graduate. This photography session was probably one of my most favorite sessions that month. My hope is to always provide a collection of images that the family will treasure forever. |
