This vibrant taqueria has been our go-to for delicious comfort food for years, perfect for a casual lunch, a late-night craving, or anything in between.    We had the pleasure of partnering with Taco Escobar to capture the atmosphere of their restaurant through stunning photography. We wanted to share a glimpse of their space with you, all these years after falling in love with their food!

Spring of 2021. Businesses everywhere were grappling with the "new normal" of the pandemic. Definitive Brewing in Portland, Maine, was no exception. Like many breweries, they faced the challenge of staying open while prioritizing the safety of their employees and patrons. We were honored to be chosen by Definitive Brewing to document this pivotal time. Our mission: to create a virtual tour and a collection of still images that showcased their commitment to both safety and customer experience.  Entrance to Definitive Brewing in Portland, Maine Celebrating Resilience: The pandemic threw a curveball at every business, and Definitive Brewing was no different. However, their commitment to safety and customer satisfaction shone through. Our photos aimed to capture this spirit of resilience – a testament to the strength of the Maine brewing community in the face of unprecedented challenges.   Highlighting Safety Measures: The photos captured the innovative ways Definitive Brewing adapted their space. We documented the implementation of outdoor seating areas, ensuring ample space for safe beer enjoyment. Images showcased the brewery's open-door policy, allowing fresh air to circulate and spacious interiors for ordering and socializing.  More Than Just Beer:
Through these images, we hoped to convey more than just the ability to enjoy a safe and delicious beer at Definitive Brewing. We aimed to showcase a company prioritizing the well-being of their staff and patrons while navigating a difficult time.

Convinced Photography had the pleasure of capturing the delectable daily menu offerings at Jonathans, a beloved restaurant that has firmly established itself in the charming coastal town of Ogunquit, Maine since the 1970s. This timeless dining spot is widely recognized and cherished, known for its weekly menu specials and enchanting seasonal musical concerts.  During an unforgettable afternoon, we had the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the welcoming ambiance of Jonathans. We got to know the dedicated staff, including the talented kitchen team, and meticulously photographed the iconic menu items. Our chosen setting was a particular dining area bathed in the soft, ethereal glow of natural garden light. Against the backdrop of pristine white linen tablecloths, we captured a table set with elegance and anticipation, ready to offer a memorable dining experience.  Between each carefully styled food arrangement, we took the time to photograph the intricate details of a neighboring table setting. We are thrilled to share these captivating images with you, along with the final hero image of the afternoon. This collection showcases a mouthwatering array of some of the finest dishes that Jonathan's has to offer, set against a backdrop of a beautifully adorned table, inviting all to indulge and savor. Against the backdrop of the clear blue water, the city shines like a jewel, a testament to the enduring spirit of a place that has captured the hearts of so many. This is Portland, Maine, a city that is at once modern and historic, serene and dynamic, a place that beckons visitors from far and wide to come and experience its beauty and charm.  Portland, Maine From high above, Portland, Maine is a breathtaking sight to behold. As the sun shines down on a day after a snowfall, the city glows with an ethereal beauty, its snowy rooftops and glistening waterways creating a mesmerizing landscape.
The Portland Co building, now home to the Twelve restaurant, stands out among the city's historic architecture, its red-brick façade a testament to the city's industrial heritage. The building's imposing presence is softened by the delicate snowflakes that still cling to its roof. The Eastern Promenade path and the Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad are also visible, adding to the charm and character of this lively and vibrant city.     Sur Lie in Portland, Maine In March of 2022, we photographed Sur Lie, a local restaurant located in the heart of Portland Maine. This was a photographic project in partnership with Portland Downtown, a non-profit organization that works to enhance and promote the vitality of downtown Portland, Maine.
The focus for the photography session would be to capture the energy and spirit of the restaurant's team. As soon as we arrived at Sur Lie, we were struck by the warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff was incredibly welcoming and confident, which created a really good atmosphere during happy hour. The staff was buzzing around, preparing drinks and appetizers, and chatting with patrons. I focused on capturing the interactions between the staff and customers, as well as the details of the restaurant's interior design. It was a fantastic night photographing for Portland Downtown and Sur Lie. The team at the restaurant were incredibly hospitable and we really enjoyed photographing their interactions. We hope that our photographic work will help to showcase the atmosphere at Sur Lie, and encourage everyone to visit this wonderful restaurant in Portland, Maine.
