This photo is a dream come true.
We can't tell you how excited I am to live in an area that cares so much about the arts that Engine: Propelling the Creative Community, Heart of Biddeford, Common Roots, Full Circle Art Consulting, and so many more, just shut down the street for a day! Shut down the street to engage the community in creating. We painted a bus, community yarn art, and so much more! We found it to be such an inspiring and healing evening. Thank you! excerpt from their website: www.feedtheengine.org/event/2021-fringe-fest/ Fringe Fest is a performing arts-laced evening, produced by Engine: Propelling the Creative Community in partnership with the Heart of Biddeford…two downtown organizations coming together to build community via the arts! The River Jam Fringe Fest provides a canvas for the performing arts community to showcase their talents with interactive performances and demonstrations in Shevenell Park and on Main Street.

#Nostalgia
by Cyle + Liz When looking back at different times in our #past we often remember seemingly ordinary #moments. That memory was probably very ordinary and even perhaps a common story among most. Collectively we all can remember some of the fond and not so fond parts of growing up. Perhaps a birthday party, or the loss of a pet, or meeting your best friend. Sometimes, for many, that ordinary moment, without us even knowing, or asking, becomes #extraordinary. #Joy shows up unexpectedly. #Death arrives unwelcomingly. #Giggles erupt spontaneously. #Tears flow uncontrollably. And in those moments a slice of time, if we are lucky, is recognized by our deeper self. We mark it for a reference of what “this feels like”. So this is #joy: memorize it. So this is #sadness: can’t forget it. And the ordinary becomes a treasure. I wonder what treasure memory the companions on the hill will have taken with them on this snowy day on the #EasternPromenade in #Portland, #Maine on #February 3rd, 2021 We have visited Bar Harbor, Maine several times. It’s probably in my top 5 Maine destinations. We love it when it’s busy and filled with tourists from all around the world. And we love it when we are the only people visible. Oftentimes, we are there on business. We spend a part of the day photographing for our client and then try to sneak in a stroll through the trails or enjoy a meal by the water. On this particular day in June, we had begun to experience some restlessness. So we went for a drive, followed by a slow stroll through Bar Harbor. That day was so quiet. No one in sight. Not much was open. And in this quiet, she shined, so brightly. Welcoming us with her cool ocean breeze. So we explored. We breathed. We relaxed and took in the vista. The photographs you see here are a collection from Cyle Davenport and Liz Davenport. As travel photographers, we know it’s important to share visually through photographs the roads we have had the opportunity to travel. We would love to share that moment with you through our photographs. Please enjoy! We fell in love with the most charming venue in Greene, Maine. There is a cidery and a tasting room. There is also a large apple orchard with a breath taking view of Maine. The original home is available too. One of the living areas has the original wallpaper that is over 100 years old. It's a spectacular fun place filled with so much history. We had such a great time photographing Vista of Maine.
These are images from a lovely nature walk I took along the Royal River Park in Yarmouth, Maine.
This is by far one of the coolest places in Maine. It's the Salt Pump Climbing Company located in Scarborough, Maine. They have really created such a cool space and there is an activity for everyone. The staff are friendly, and are true experts that always offer help. The space is pretty fantastic.
